Students were given their math tests (on graphing) back this morning. See if your child brought theirs home as a way of further practicing any misconceptions, and if they would like to re-write their test once a parent has helped to support any misunderstandings. As always, students are welcome to re-write a quiz (to boost their mark) once they have practiced further at home. Up next in math: Multiplication and Division!
We learned about adjectives today. In order to understand how to use adjectives, students needed to remember what a noun was. See if your child can write a detailed sentence where they can identify what we have previously learned (nouns and verbs) as well as what we focused on today (adjectives). We are continuing to develop our foundation and understanding of parts of speech to help support our reading and writing skills. We will be having a Remembrance Day assembly this Friday, November 8th. The assembly will begin at 10:45am and it will be roughly 30 minutes in length. All families are welcome to join the assembly! Reminders: For those interested, Picture Retakes are this Wednesday, November 6th.
