We began our day by visualizing and writing out fractions that we can see within the classroom. Students are learning about how fractions are part of a whole, and how we can write fractions in two ways: What is there or what is not there. See if your child can tell you a fraction statement from something at home (ex. three fourths of the dinning room chairs are pushed in).
Now that we have a music program up and running again, we needed to write out some personal goals. Please ask your child what goals they wrote for themselves in order to be further successful within music. Our class gets music every Tuesday and Thursday right after lunch. They are currently working on a Cree song! Students were given their Sky Sciences tests back. Please have your child show you their results via Iris, and see what areas your child wrote as areas of strengths, and areas for growth. Reminders: - Culture Night this Wed 12th from 6:00-7:30! Thank you to all of our volunteers who are preparing for the night - we are very excited! - No school on Thurs 13th or Fri 14th (Teacher's Convention), or Monday 17th (Family Day)
