Please be sure to check your child's backpack to see their latest math test results on the geometry test! The students also uploaded their test results onto their Iris profiles, and they wrote about areas for growth and areas of strength within the unit. Some students chose to leave their math test in their desk for parents to see at the set of conferences in March. Today we began a new unit. Ask your child to tell you what multiples are, and see if they can tell you what the lowest common multiple between 4 and 5 would be (answer = 20).
Wow, what a busy afternoon of designing and constructing! Students were mindful of the art outcomes (technique, creativity, and responding appropriately) while building their aliens today. We will begin the paper-mache process tomorrow! We are looking to collect a few more items for the construction of our planets and aliens tomorrow: - newspapers - flour (a cup or two in a zip lock bag) Reminders: - Skiing/Snowboarding forms and fees are due by tomorrow! - Swimming starts on Monday (more info and reminders to come later this week).
